Eckert IV equal area world map
We discovered a cache of B&W outline maps amidst the World Eagle inventory we took over last year. This map shown is another excellent choice for an equal area world map…it is called the Eckert IV. Some people consider it too 'long and thin' in the tropics, but it was the surprise first choice for the 1995 revision of the National Curriculum in the UK. The original retail price of this map was $7.50. We will not be printing it again, so we’re giving these away for free. If you order a laminated rolled map, you’ll get your free map rolled. If you order a paper folded map or a book, or this map alone, we’ll fold your Eckert IV. The map is FREE with any order over $10. Limit: One per customer. These maps are similar to the image above, but they also have country outlines (with 1989 boundaries). Test your knowledge of the changes by comparing this map with one of our current Peters, Hobo-Dyer, or What’s Up? South maps. The size of the paper sheet is 25” x 38” and the map inset itself is 17” x 33.5. For FREE map, click on the FREE option from the dropdown menu.
