Contest Prizes
How we pick the winners: We're looking for uses of maps that create the greatest change, are the most innovative, and easily adopted by others. We want to hear about maps that are provocative and stimulating. And, of course, we want to hear why you LOVE them. If you have a lesson plan or class notes, please include them. Tell us about imaginative and creative uses that can impact the greatest number of people across age ranges. If the map is not yet published or in the public domain, please provide supporting data on how the accuracy level of the map reflects the real world. Ask yourself: “How was knowledge or perception of the world increased from exposure to the map?” and “Does the map suggest some course of action to help make a difference in the world?”
